The ribbon advancing system was non-functional
Key Fixes
- Repaired the ribbon advance system, previously non-functional, enabling consistent character printing
- Cleaned, lubricated, and realigned over 10+ joints, springs, and levers
- Re-tensioned and adjusted the carriage return mechanism to restore smooth motion
